Your Photos & App Data

FADE stores photos and session data on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account. This data never leaves your device or your personal iCloud account. We have no access to it.

What We Collect

FADE does not collect analytics or track users. The only data we collect is through two optional features you choose to use:

Waitlist. If you sign up on our website, we store your email address to notify you when FADE is available. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.

Feedback. If you submit feedback through the app, we store your message and, optionally, your email address for follow-up. We may also store basic device information (e.g. device model, OS version) to help us reproduce issues. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit feedback.

Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties. Waitlist and feedback data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (EU/US). No other third-party services or SDKs are used.

Data Retention

Waitlist emails are kept until we send the launch notification, then deleted. Feedback data is kept for as long as it is useful for improving the app, typically no longer than 12 months.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Camera & Photo Library

FADE requests camera access to capture progress photos. If you enable "Save photos to Camera Roll" in Settings, photos are also saved to your device's photo library. These permissions can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings.
